Testimonials

We hope that the time your loved one spends with us is an enjoyable and memorable one. A great deal of thought was spent in our planning stage to make sure that our guests feel comfortable in their new home.

Our Grove Memory Care facility is still fairly new so we wanted to share some good memories and responses from others who have worked with us at our sister facility, Valley Comfort Assisted Living & Dementia/Alzheimer’s Residence.

There are not enough words to express our thankfulness for the wonderful care you gave our mother, Gertrude, from March 2020 to July 2021.

From the very first day when we were getting her settled in, each one of the owners came and said hello, the caregivers introduced themselves, and the cook came and asked what foods she liked and didn't like to eat and how she liked her food prepared.

The decor was very homelike and always very clean with no obnoxious smells. My mom was able to bring her own furniture for her room and hang her pictures on the wall which made it feel more like home.

During visits with mom, we also observed the caring kindness given to her and the other residents, and it was a comfort to us knowing that she had a good care place to live.

We were kept informed about changes in her care due to the progression of her dementia. Everyone was so pleasant when we called to ask how she was doing.

My mom enjoyed the exercise class, watching TV with other residents, walking with her walker in the hallways, going outside, especially the chocolate treats from various staff members.

When she progressed to a wheelchair, each of you made sure she got where she wanted or needed to be, and when she could no longer feed herself, you kindly fed her.

When it came time for her to pass; you gave her wonderful care and offered your help to us in any way you could. Individuals came by and told us, with tears in their eyes, how much they loved her, that she was a part of their family, how kind she was, and mentioned that, knowing her love for chocolate, they would bring her chocolate treats. Words can't really convey the heartfelt GRATITUDE for the wonderful caring family mom had when we couldn't be with her.”
